Our guiding values
At KLW Counseling, we are guided by compassion, intention, and empowerment. I offer a nonjudgmental space where anxious thoughts, intrusive worries, and self-criticism can be explored safely and without shame. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and parts-based therapy. Therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about helping clients build self-trust, resilience, and confidence so they can move forward with greater clarity and calm.

Who we help
My counseling services are a good fit for adults with ADHD and anxiety-related concerns, including OCD. Clients often struggle with overthinking, intrusive thoughts, mental restlessness, and feeling overwhelmed or self-critical. I work best with individuals who want a supportive, nonjudgmental space along with practical tools and deeper insight. Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, reducing anxiety, and building skills that help clients feel more grounded, confident, and capable. You do not need to have everything “falling apart” to benefit from therapy. If your mind feels exhausting, stuck, or constantly on high alert, support can help.
In addition to my work with ADHD, anxiety, and OCD, I also support individuals navigating grief and loss. Grief often shows up alongside anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and emotional overwhelm, and I approach it with the same compassion and respect for each person’s unique process.
My connection with The Grief Support Center (https://www.griefsupportcenter.com/) has deepened my understanding of grief as a non-linear, deeply personal experience. I believe there is no “right” way to grieve—only a need for support, understanding, and space.

What makes us different
What sets KLW Counseling apart is a specialized, thoughtful approach to working with ADHD and anxiety-related concerns, including OCD. I understand that these struggles are not just about managing symptoms—they are about learning how to work with a brain that feels busy, intense, or constantly on alert. I offer therapy that is both compassionate and practical, blending evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and parts-based work. Sessions are collaborative and intentional, focused on helping clients understand their patterns, reduce anxiety and compulsive loops, and build tools that actually translate into daily life. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” I help clients understand their patterns and develop skills that fit their lives. Therapy feels supportive and intentional, with space for both skill-building and meaningful reflection—so clients leave sessions feeling understood and empowered, not overwhelmed. I believe therapy should feel useful, respectful, and human—not confusing, rushed, or judgmental.
